Santana is very well established in Spain, with more than 50 years experience and a stable portfolio of suppliers because of the high quality of its products.
It produces around 1.5 million litres of extra virgin olive oil, which has a characteristic beautiful bright green colour, and an intense aroma that reminds one of fresh grass. Its soft and fruity flavour has slight moderated bitter and peppery hints, and its acidity of around 0.5 degrees makes this olive oil very well suited to international tastes.
We have modern facilities and machinery, which allow us to carry out our work while respecting the environment. We focus carefully on every detail during the production and packaging process, leaving us with a top-quality product. Clean, selected olives arrive at our mill less than 24 hours after harvesting from our olive trees (5 - 100 years old) which grow in the areas of Los Barros and La Campiña Sur in Badajoz, in the south of Spain, close to the border with Portugal.
